Mr. Handyman is a well-established home repair and maintenance company that prides itself on exceptional service, quality work, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Handyman Professional to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Handyman Professional to complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following areas: carpentry, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting, drywall work, general plumbing and electrical, and floor installation and refurbishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing Maintenance & Repairs: Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project lengths ranging from two hours to two days.
  • Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
  • Create Life-Long Customers: Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.
Performance Metrics
  • Customer Satisfaction (NPS): Encourage customers to complete a survey for every job to rate their satisfaction with the service, with a high response rate and high satisfaction rate required.
  • Revenue Target: Stay in the door and find additional ways to be of service to the customer, with a focus on revenue growth.
  • Effective Billing Rate: Invoice appropriately, source any needed materials, and collect payment from the customer, with a focus on efficient billing and collection.
  • Recall Percentage: Guarantee all work for one year, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
