Job Description

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) play a vital role in providing compassionate and skilled care to patients under the supervision of licensed nurses. As a PCT at Sentara, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can develop your skills and advance your career.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful as a Patient Care Technician, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient-centered care. You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a certified nursing assistant program or equivalent training. We prefer candidates with one year of prior healthcare experience and American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
