Critical Care Nurse Residency Overview

Lifespan is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care units. Our comprehensive residency program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this challenging and rewarding role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized patient care in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing degree preferred.
  • Basic Life-Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Physical ability to assist with lifting and positioning patients.
