We are seeking a skilled Residences General Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Inner Harbor Baltimore. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our facility's boiler systems, pumps, ventilation systems, plumbing, water and sewage systems, and the Energy Management System (EMS).
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and perform routine maintenance on facility systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Facilitate the use of technical manuals and blueprints to troubleshoot and repair systems or components.
- Adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes, and safety precautions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform miscellaneous minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs, patching holes in walls, and painting.
- Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
- Communicate with the Director of Residences/Residences Manager to resolve maintenance issues.
- Technical, Trade or Vocational School Degree.
- 3 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- First Class Stationary Engineer's Operating License.
