Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes hourly rates ranging from $27.84 to $45.46, depending on previous work experience. In addition to base pay, you can earn evening differential ($2.50/hour), night differential ($3.00/hour), and weekend differential ($3.00/hour). Job Description

The RN I in the NICU is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a family-centered environment. Key duties include assessing patient conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and implementing care strategies while ensuring patient safety. This role requires a valid Oklahoma RN license and participation in ongoing education programs to maintain competence in neonatal care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred;
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field preferred; previous work history reflecting stable employment;
  • If no work experience, consideration will be given to school attendance and performance records;
  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license;
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care;
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment;
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training preferred;
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training required within 6 months of hire;
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
Ongoing Education and Training
  • Must participate in Perinatal Continuing Education Program (PCEP) when offered at the hospital;
  • Must complete STABLE program within 1 year of hire and maintained if offered at NRHS;
  • Must attend breastfeeding classes as offered; must attend required teach weeks/skills fairs and participate in emergency drills while on the job.
