Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Japanese Teacher to join our team at ESS Education. As a Virtual Japanese Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in the absence of a regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Support: Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent.
  • Lesson Plan Implementation: Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Reporting: Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
Qualifications
  • Certification: Certified - Valid NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification
  • Non-Certified: Minimum of 60 college credits needed to obtain substitute certification
  • Criminal History: Valid NJ criminal history letter
  • Health Requirements: Negative tuberculosis test obtained within 6 months of initial employment
