At Volkert Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled CEI Inspector to join our team in the Carolinas Region. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure development and want to make a difference in their communities.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a CEI Inspector, you will be responsible for performing technical duties supporting engineers and other professionals in the administration of highway construction. Your tasks will include inspection for compliance with contract documents, standards, and specifications, testing of materials, review of plans, analysis of engineering-related data, and construction survey/layout.

You will also be required to keep daily diaries on project operations, resolve daily constructability issues, and troubleshoot problems to mitigate delays to contractor's progress. Additionally, you will monitor contractor's daily operations and perform and/or review test reports to ensure that all work and materials conform to specifications, plans, and contractual provisions.
