We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team at Franciscan Village, a vibrant senior living community in Lemont, Illinois. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high level of quality care is maintained.
- Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth transition process.
- Keep physician and/or other healthcare professionals informed of changes in resident conditions.
- Supervise Nursing Assistants and may supervise other nurses, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education to stay up-to-date on the latest geriatric care practices.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/RN program.
- LPN and RN license in Illinois.
- Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must enjoy working with the senior population.
