Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to conduct psychiatric assessments and treatment planning for primary care patients. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other clinicians to provide integrated mental health services and substance abuse treatment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting psychiatric evaluations and developing treatment plans with primary care providers.
  • Providing diagnostic and treatment consultation to primary care clinicians.
  • Developing and implementing psychiatric treatment plans with patient's primary care provider and other clinical providers or staff.
  • Participating in case conferences, staff meetings, and phone conversations to coordinate services for patients.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess a current CA Nurse Practitioner license, Board Certification as a PMHNP, DEA and furnishing licenses, training and experience in public sector work, community mental health, and working with dually diagnosed clients. Strong computer skills, including EHR Epic, are also required. Spanish speaking is highly preferred but not required.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $142,000 and $163,000 per year, depending on years since licensed. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, dependent and domestic partner coverage, 403(b) retirement savings plan, loan repayment programs, and commuter benefits. We qualify for federal and state loan repayment programs.
