In this role, you will operate under direct supervision while collaborating with some of the industry's most skilled engineers. Your contributions will be pivotal in the advancement of our next-generation aerospace engine products, guiding new initiatives from initial concept through to production commencement, focusing on manufacturing efficiency, yield optimization, and timely execution.

As part of a dedicated team, you will engage in value engineering for existing products and enhance the manufacturing processes at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for specialized chemical processing operations, including conversion coatings, etching/cleaning, and plating.
  • Prepare and revise necessary reports and documentation.
  • Conduct material assessments and investigations.
  • Respond to audits concerning specialized processes.
  • Collaborate with diverse functional teams.
  • Support shop floor audits and participate in daily operational meetings.
  • Facilitate the movement of materials through the review process, both physically and electronically.

U.S. Person Requirements:

In accordance with U.S. export control laws, candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or an individual with protected status in the U.S.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, technology, or the sciences from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering within the aerospace sector.
  • Compliance with U.S. export control laws is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Familiarity with engineering specifications and blueprints.
  • Experience with NADCAP or audit processes, either as an auditor or auditee.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive approach with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
