Job Overview

Position Summary:

  • Engage in hands-on laboratory technician activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Chemists.
  • Develop a variety of Hair, Skin, and Sun Care formulations, including gels, creams, lotions, serums, and more.
  • Conduct and monitor prototype stability and compatibility tests. Manage, organize, and procure laboratory supplies and raw materials.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, with 0-1 years of relevant formulation experience; or currently enrolled in a recognized science degree program.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of emulsions, polymers, surfactant technology, and general cosmetic formulation techniques.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments and methodologies, particularly pH meters, Brookfield Viscometers, stand mixers, and Silverson homogenizers.
  • Ability to adhere to established formulas and procedures provided by senior chemists to produce final formulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Capability to maintain a laboratory notebook as a professional legal document.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at a laboratory bench for 8 hours daily.
