Job Title: Polysomnography Sleep Tech

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Polysomnography Sleep Tech to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Polysomnography Sleep Tech to work in our sleep lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing patient information, preparing and calibrating equipment, and performing polysomnographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing, including applying electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.
  • Perform polysomnographic procedures, including data acquisition and monitoring of study-tracing quality.
  • Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events.
  • Implement appropriate interventions, including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention.
  • Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events according to center-specific protocols.
  • Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility.
  • Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.P.S.G.T) certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
