Key Responsibilities:
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking food according to approved recipes and production standards.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of cooks and food-service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action as needed.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure that all food is stored and handled in accordance with corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner, and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, track product production, consumption, and waste, and inform the supervisor when supplies or product are low.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or other management personnel.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a kitchen or food-service environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent cooking and food preparation skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

  • Competitive Salary: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour.
