Position Overview:
The Clinical Specialist plays a vital role in the Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  1. Assisting healthcare professionals in managing the medical needs of individuals within the agency's Residential Program.
  2. Maintaining effective communication with program staff, healthcare providers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
  3. Providing direct support to individuals as required, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
  4. Demonstrating knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and various clinical practices.

Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with potential for extended hours or flexible scheduling as needed.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following:

  • A valid NYS Driver's License.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) sector.
