About the Role

Mountain Air Conditioning and Heating is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team. As an HVAC Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and replacing heating and cooling equipment, including ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits, and rooftop package units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits, and rooftop package units.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle and ensure proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment are on hand.
  • Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
  • Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency.
  • Engage with homeowners to understand their concerns and interests regarding their AC system, which may lead to potential accessory sales or new system replacements.
  • Understand company pricing programs and generate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC-related components.
  • Type II EPA Certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, ensuring jobs are completed correctly the first time.
  • Ability to crawl in tight spaces and climb ladders, work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
