Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assembler/Tester to join our team at First Tek, Inc. This role will involve assembling and testing complex products, troubleshooting issues, and implementing lean initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test complex products, including mechanical and electrical components, hydraulic systems, and multiple part families.
  • Troubleshoot and rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Conduct diagnostic teardown and rebuilding, including evaluation of suitability of components.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
  • Implement lean initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Five or more years direct industry-related experience in assembly/test in a high technology manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate understanding of semi-complex products involving electronics, dual systems, and multiple part families.
  • Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
  • Able to research problems and develop solutions, incorporating multiple variables, to successfully repair product to serviceable condition.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong mechanical reasoning, hydraulic, and electrical background.
  • Measurement conversion and fluids theory knowledge required for test applications.
  • Leakage, flow, friction, and pressure knowledge required.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive pay range of $26.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage are also required for this position.
