Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead our technical team at Qualified Health. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of deploying scalable AI systems and has a track record of innovation and excellence in a high-stakes environment, preferably with both hyperscaler and startup experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and Manage AI Infrastructure: Ensure the scalability and robustness of AI solutions by designing and implementing efficient machine learning infrastructure.
  • Drive MLOps Adoption: Automate model training, deployment, and monitoring using best practices in machine learning operations.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and healthcare professionals to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Design and Deploy Machine Learning Models: Develop and deploy machine learning models tailored to healthcare applications, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
  • Mentor Junior Engineers: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, applying insights to our projects and driving innovation.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.
  • Experience in Machine Learning: At least 5 years of experience in designing and deploying machine learning models at scale.
  • ML Infrastructure and Cloud Services: Proven experience with ML infrastructure and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) used for large-scale data processing and model deployment.
  • MLOps Practices: Strong background in MLOps practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing of machine learning models.
  • Technical Leadership Experience: Prior technical leadership experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Desirable Skills
  • Generative AI Models: Expertise in generative AI models, particularly those applicable to healthcare scenarios.
  • Regulatory Frameworks: Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in healthcare.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate under pressure.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • FAANG Experience: Previous employment at a FAANG company or similar, with substantial involvement in AI/ML projects.
