Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $25.00-$30.00 per hour.
  • Commissions and Profit Sharing: We offer additional compensation opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with assigned lead and/or supervisor and other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
  • Delegate HVAC-related tasks to HVAC staff or contractors to ensure timely work order completion.
  • Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems to identify equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
  • Inform personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders to provide information for making decisions, taking appropriate action, and/or complying with building and safety regulations.
  • Install heating and air conditioning equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities.
  • Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure availability in safe operating conditions.
  • Monitor HVAC systems and their components to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs, and recommend preventive maintenance.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as assigned to convey and/or gather information required to perform job functions.
  • Perform maintenance on HVAC units to ensure the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
  • Prepare written materials to document activities and/or convey information.
  • Repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or components to ensure a comfortable work environment.
  • Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
  • Respond to emergencies during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
  • Supervise HVAC staff and contractors to ensure work is performed at high levels and provides expertise as needed.
  • Supervise contract work to ensure contract terms are fulfilled and work standards are met.

Requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, as the position may involve travel to various job sites or client locations.
  • Must hold EPA Certification, demonstrating proficiency in handling environmental protection and regulatory compliance related to HVAC systems.
  • Must be highly skilled craftsmen in their trade, with a minimum of 3-5 years of practical working experience in the residential HVAC chiller, plumbing, pipefitting, security & fire, and/or mechanical equipment service industry.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
