Job Title: Sr. Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, define, design, and implement reliability tools for our thermal energy storage systems.
  • Develop processes that ensure reliability is designed into our products and help create tools that enable those processes.
  • Engage with other team members to drive the delivery of key deliverables such as Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP).
  • Partner with peer teams to create tools that drive data-driven reliability improvements, such as Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
  • Report in program reviews and top-level reliability performance reviews/dashboards.
  • Participate in design phase gate reviews to ensure reliability requirements are met.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and reliability growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a hardware-focused reliability engineering role.
  • Strong process, tool, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree(s) in Engineering.
  • Technical expertise in Test, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical / Engineering Program Management Experience.
  • Experience ramping first production in a startup environment.
  • Experienced in design for reliability, physics of failure, life data analysis.
