We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory sections, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and guidance to laboratory staff in all areas of laboratory services.
- Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and quality.
- Participate in quality assurance functions and prepare for CAP inspections.
- Provide diagnostic laboratory services for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field or qualification for CLS licensure.
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire.
- 5 years of clinical laboratory experience as a CLS in an acute care hospital setting.
- ASCP Certification upon hire.
