Job Summary

This is a complex clinical diagnostic role that involves performing ultrasound procedures for the evaluation and treatment of patients. The position requires performing both adult and pediatric imaging, working independently, and adhering to established procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes
  • Work with cardiologists to review and discuss results
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound techniques and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Board registration in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Training in CPR with a valid certification
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ultrasound techniques and procedures
  • Ability to analyze and characterize pathology
