Job Summary

Under the direction of a cardiologist, the Cardiac Sonographer - ECHO role performs ultrasound procedures to evaluate, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures for cardiovascular disease evaluation and diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of ultrasound results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a registered Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
  • Eligible for registration in Cardiac Sonography through ARDMS or CCI within 6 months of hire.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.
