Role ResponsibilitiesThis role encompasses the comprehensive management and leadership of daily operations within the manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Site Plant Manager, you will regularly provide updates on plant performance metrics.
Your direct reports will include a team of salaried professionals, such as the Production Manager and Scheduling Manager, while all hourly staff at the facility will be indirectly managed by you.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote employee safety.
- Guarantee product quality and customer satisfaction in order fulfillment.
- Track and uphold key performance indicators related to productivity and budget management.
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and management techniques to enhance plant performance and optimize workflows.
- Oversee plant engineering and maintenance, including equipment and facilities.
- Manage inventory and materials, along with capital planning and execution.
- Evaluate and oversee both salaried and hourly personnel within the facility.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- 5-7+ years of relevant managerial experience in a manufacturing setting or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated technical leadership with a proficiency in structured problem-solving techniques.
- Experience with 5S, Lean, and Kaizen methodologies is advantageous.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management to support business objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
