Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laser Development Scientist to join our team at TOPTICA Photonics, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new laser systems and products, as well as ensuring the quality and reliability of our existing products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new laser systems and products, including optical parametric oscillators and integrated photonics
  • Contribute to the development of engineering plans and product specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality
  • Build and characterize early prototypes


Requirements:

  • Master's degree in physics, optics, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred
  • Significant experience in hands-on work with lasers and optical techniques
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States
  • Experience with optical parametric oscillators and/or integrated photonics, preferred
  • Skills in electronics and/or software for controls and analysis, preferred
