We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mammography Technologist on a part-time basis.

Salary

The hourly range for this role is estimated to be between $40.00 and $60.00 per hour. This figure is based on various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more.

Job Description

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality digital mammograms for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Consistently performing high-quality digital mammograms
  • FOLLOWING established protocols based on the needs of individual patients and ordered exams
  • Explaining procedures and observing patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams
  • Using radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff
  • Evaluating images for technical quality
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board-certified or board-eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire)
  • An active WA state license or pending application
