Job Summary

Southwest Concrete Paving Co. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our paving crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our heavy equipment to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
  • Perform routine services and repairs on paving and heavy construction equipment
  • Communicate with equipment operators to assess machine performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Document and record work performed and parts used
  • Travel with the paving crew to various job sites
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • ASE Certification (preferred)
  • CDL Certified (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
