Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team at Prestige Senior Living - Bridgewood. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and assist with self-administration as directed by physicians and in accordance with state regulations.
  • Process physician orders and maintain accurate records of medication services provided or omitted.
  • Coordinate with pharmacies for medication orders and refills.
  • Report medication errors and changes in resident condition to the Health Services Director and other relevant staff.
  • Provide direct resident care, promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
  • Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, and other daily chores.
  • Participate in training, in-services, and staff meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
  • State required medication pass certification or other required certification.
  • Word processing skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • CPR certification and First Aid training.
  • Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
