About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and appraising supplier manufacturing capabilities to ensure compliance with industry standards.

This role involves establishing part quality evaluation plans, providing resolution and disposition of non-conformance materials, and ensuring adequate corrective action.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and/or appraise supplier's manufacturing capabilities to baseline their processes for conformance to various documented commodity checklists and QMS special processes.
  • Establishes part quality evaluation plans from materials requests through material receipt (full life-cycle).
  • Provides resolution and disposition of non-conformance materials to ensure adequate corrective action.
  • Interact in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
