Responsibilities include administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, advising patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
To be successful in this role, you must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. Additionally, you must have AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
