The QA Associate I-Laboratory will be responsible for supporting QA Laboratory in tasks relating to BioClean testing operations as well as microbiology work pertinent to quarterly dose audits for Rainin's sterilization center. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of life sciences and physical sciences laboratory concepts. The QA Associate I will be expected to learn hands-on life sciences laboratory tasks, including pipetting, as well as data recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze basic molecular biology and microbiology techniques/data.
- Perform routine laboratory pipetting tasks requiring accurate and precise execution repeatedly during the workday.
- Carry out laboratory housekeeping tasks and weekly 5S audits.
- Support BioClean lab's sustainability and safety goals by sorting materials properly between recycling, refuse, and biohazardous waste.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure good teamwork and best practices.
- Follow Company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct audits of other departments.
The QA Associate I will be expected to participate in routine auditing of other departments according to ISO 9001. The ideal candidate should be able to understand and be trained on basic molecular biology and microbiology techniques/data. The QA Associate I will be responsible for performing routine laboratory pipetting tasks, carrying out laboratory housekeeping tasks, and supporting BioClean lab's sustainability and safety goals.
