Job Description

As a Physician Assistant Care Coordinator at UNC Health Care, you will play a critical role in coordinating patient care and working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain relevant health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and review diagnostic tests/results.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing and ordering medications.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a graduate-level degree in Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program and be licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around $115,000 per year, depending on experience. UNC Health Care offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
