Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Load Planner to join our team at Swift Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing creative solutions to exceed customer expectations and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load Planning and Optimization
    • Review market trends, capacity, and demand to assign loads to trucks and maximize profitability.
    • Determine the balance of loads and trucks, and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer account teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting
    • Conduct daily market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in operations, planning, and/or customer accounts.
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
