Position Overview: The Cannabis Retail Specialist is responsible for engaging with customers at our dispensary, providing them with knowledge, information, and resources. You will address and resolve customer inquiries professionally, ensuring superior service at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Redi's policies and procedures while complying with state cannabis regulations.
  • Deliver exemplary service that consistently exceeds customer expectations and fosters long-term relationships.
  • Share product knowledge and explain the potential benefits of various cannabis strains and consumption methods.
  • Recognize the unique needs of each customer with empathy and understanding.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide relevant resources to enhance their product experience.
  • Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality.
  • Accurately input customer information into the POS system to ensure correct product delivery and inventory accuracy.
  • Help maintain a clean, stocked, and operational store environment.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow team members.
  • Support team efforts during opening and closing procedures.
  • Project a positive image of the organization to customers, employees, and the community.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and management to continually enhance the customer experience.
  • Address customer issues and complaints appropriately, fostering loyalty to our brand.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are advantageous.
  • Must successfully complete Redi's training program, including passing the dispensing test.
  • Ability to handle challenges and resolve issues professionally.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Passionate about the significance of cannabis.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4 hours or more) and perform tasks such as weighing, counting, and processing information on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
