About the Role:

The Veterinarian Manager will oversee the daily operations of our Community Medicine program, ensuring the highest quality care for animals in underserved communities. This role will involve managing a team of veterinarians, developing and implementing medical protocols, and collaborating with other departments to achieve our mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of veterinarians and support staff to provide high-quality care to animals in underserved communities
  • Develop and implement medical protocols and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes for animals
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Client Operations and Talent Acquisition, to achieve our mission
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and apply this knowledge to improve our programs
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced clinic environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues
