Role Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This role involves working closely with patients to implement tailored rehabilitation strategies that promote recovery and improve overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to the established treatment plan.
- Regularly communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, treatment adjustments, and any concerns.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment, including the upkeep of therapy equipment.
- Document patient care and billing information accurately and in a timely manner, complying with all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Uphold the standards of conduct and compliance as outlined by the organization and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support or CPR, as mandated by state regulations.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation practices, particularly for patients with complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks effectively with attention to detail.
