About the RoleAs an LPN in Oncology, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and participate in the planning and implementation of nursing care. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Participate in the planning and implementation of nursing care, including developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and provide exceptional care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- 1 or more years of experience as an LPN
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Previous experience in oncology or a related field
