Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director - RN to lead our Hospice team at Conemaugh Regional Hospice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care, staff management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and direct all professional staff and allied health personnel to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
  • Care Management: Direct the daily operations of the agency, including review of patient care paperwork, referral information, recertification processes, discharge information, and event reporting.
  • Financial Management: Review monthly financial results to ensure quality patient care is delivered in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) planning and processes, including chart audits, patient satisfaction, financials, contracts, patient/family complaints, and follow-up.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Must be a licensed registered nurse with at least three years of documented success in a hospice, home health, or other healthcare delivery system setting. Three years of healthcare leadership experience is preferred.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification is required for Executive Directors who may provide services to patients in the field.
  • Other Requirements: Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
