Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Installation Specialist to join our team at Leidos. This individual will be responsible for leading network survey, design, and installations under the direction of the government.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ANSI/TIA-568 and 569 standards, as well as requirements of Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) for Classified Systems as directed by Security and/or the Certified Tempest Technical Authority (CTTA).

Key responsibilities will include conducting site surveys of customer premise networks, creating detailed site survey reports, configuring and installing network infrastructure cabling, and ensuring network cabling infrastructure is compliant with current NIST and TEMPEST standards.

The successful candidate will also have experience with various OTDR, cable testers, and network sniffers to develop reports for infrastructure certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of $68,124.50 and a dynamic work environment that values innovation and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of ANSI/TIA-568 and 569 standards.
  • Requirements of Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) for Classified Systems as directed by Security and/or the Certified Tempest Technical Authority (CTTA).
  • Knowledge of National Security Telecommunication & Information Systems Security Instruction (NTISSI) 7003.
  • Knowledge of DISA network topologies and standards.
  • Topology and rack elevations using Visio.
  • Experience with various OTDR, cable testers, and network sniffers to develop reports for infrastructure certification.
