Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist Supervisor to join our team at Olympic Medical Center. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for supervising staff in assigned patient care areas and ensuring the operational needs of the department are met to provide high-quality care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of radiation therapists to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental operations and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with departmental and organizational leadership to ensure the coordination of patient services and departmental functions.
  • Project an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or 3 years oncology experience in lieu of degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school for therapeutic radiologic technology, preferred.
  • Two years supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Oncology billing practices, preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Washington state Radiologic Technologist certification, required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
