Job Title: Electrician – Spruce Pine, NC
Job Overview: The successful candidate will carry out daily preventive maintenance tasks, install conduit, troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform terminations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine electrical maintenance throughout the facility
- Interpret and analyze wiring schematics
- Diagnose and repair faulty circuits and equipment
- Install conduit of various types and sizes
- Terminate motors, panels, and other electrical components
- Adhere to daily instructions and complete assigned work orders
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician
- A combination of relevant technical training and practical experience will be considered
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to complete hiring paperwork electronically
- May need to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must possess the strength and stamina to perform the essential functions of the role
- Capability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain
- Full range of motion appropriate for the job
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders
- Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alarms
- Visual acuity and depth perception necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety footwear is mandatory
