About the Stores Executive Internship

Target is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Stores Executive Internship program. As a Stores Executive Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a retail leadership role, working closely with our Executive Team Leaders and other store leaders to develop and implement business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of hourly team members to deliver exceptional guest service and drive sales results
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive store performance and achieve business objectives
  • Work closely with Executive Team Leaders and other store leaders to align on business priorities and goals
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve goals
  • Participate in ongoing developmental conversations to ensure continuous learning and growth

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong leadership skills and team-oriented thinking
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
