**Job Summary**
GForce Life Sciences is seeking a highly experienced Technical Director of Construction to oversee quality control reviews of design documents and construction submittals for our client's Tarrytown Campus Expansion Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control reviews of design documents and construction submittals to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
- Perform technical reviews of design documents, including drawings and specifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality construction documents.
- Coordinate with external architectural and engineering firms and construction managers to ensure that documents produced are coordinated and detailed correctly.
- Analyze sequence of trades, construction methods, and logistics plans for constructability.
- Develop and implement quality assurance checklists for each phase of development of design documents.
- Develop the technical capabilities of project managers, engineering groups, architects, and subject matter experts in other disciplines.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in pre-construction, constructability reviews of design documents, and construction management.
- Extensive experience in construction management and technical leadership.
- Preferred software: Bluebeam Studio, AutoCAD, Revit, SharePoint.
- Experience leading a team and managing multiple projects.
- Experience with pharmaceutical R&D facilities.
