Guest Services Coordinator

Job Overview:
Provide exceptional service to all guests encountered, ensuring a luxurious experience in a premier resort setting. Assist guests with their luggage and guide them to their accommodations while highlighting the various amenities and services available at the resort.
Upon arrival at the guest's room, ensure they are familiar with all room features and functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the resort.
Deliver top-tier service to all visitors entering the establishment.
Manage guest luggage and escort them to their rooms, utilizing a luggage cart when necessary.
Inform guests about the services and amenities provided by the resort.
Collect items for laundry and valet services.
Maintain a log of service requests.
During guest departures, retrieve luggage from the room and ensure it is transported to the lobby and into the guest's vehicle.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Proficient computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Experience in hotel room sales is preferred.
Familiarity with LMS is a plus, but not mandatory. Must be computer literate and capable of operating a 10-key adding machine. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact diplomatically with guests and staff. A high level of business acumen and professional ethics is essential. A commitment to guest service and positive team dynamics is required.
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must successfully complete a background check to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Language Proficiency:
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to interpret documents such as safety guidelines and operational manuals is necessary.
Must be capable of writing routine reports and effectively communicating with guests and team members.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Skills:
Must possess the ability to independently resolve complex situations.
Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and apply judgment to various scenarios is essential.
Must be able to engage with individuals in a courteous and effective manner.Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Frequent reaching and manipulation with hands is necessary. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
This role demands the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and requires specific vision capabilities, including close vision and depth perception.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability. The resort may have moderate to loud noise levels and a smoking environment.
Working Hours:
As the resort operates 24/7, flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Work schedules may vary based on operational needs and may include shifts throughout the week.
