ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team as a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse. As a travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patients' levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Closely observe patients for signs of side effects from anesthesia medication, such as nausea, vomiting, or respiratory distress.
- Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia, using evidence-based practices and medications.
