A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist at Premier Health provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, scoring of records, patient care, and patient education.
Scope of ResponsibilityUnder the general supervision of the medical director, this role works to provide high-quality patient care and education, while also contributing to the development and implementation of sleep disorder treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive sleep evaluations, including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing
- Develop and implement diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for sleep disorders
- Score sleep records and provide accurate and timely results
- Provide patient care and education on sleep disorder management and treatment options
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement sleep disorder treatment plans
This role requires a strong foundation in polysomnography and sleep medicine, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care and education.
