Sleep Disorder Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sleep Disorder Specialist to join our team at Dayton Children\u0027s. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting sleep studies, sleep staging, and technical scoring of sleep events according to AASM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sleep studies and sleep staging according to AASM standards
- Provide QA feedback and work closely with the Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager, and Medical Director to ensure excellent quality in diagnostic and therapeutic services
- Provide excellent patient experience by following all protocols, policy, and procedures and hospital values
- Assist in overseeing supply inventory, mentoring other staff, and implementing new test modalities
Requirements:
- Associates degree required
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association certification required
- RCP - Respiratory Care Professionals License - Ohio Respiratory Care Board certification required
- RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists certification required
Department Specific Job Details:
No sleep technology experience required. We will provide training to obtain RPSGT or SDS.
