Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Completion of a Nursing Aide Instruction program is mandatory.
- Must be listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I.
- Medication Safety - AME certification is required.
- Completion of NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility-specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units is necessary.
- Additional Skills: Basic computer skills for documentation purposes are preferred.
