About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join our Global IT ERP Team at Leica Biosystems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing SAP support on a global basis, with a focus on the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide SAP support for the SAP Logistics modules (MM, SD, CS, PP, WM) to end-users globally.
  • Develop and implement new SAP logistics solutions based on user support requests or global projects.
  • Collaborate with the Global ERP Support Team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support for the Logistics Modules.
  • Create training documents and plan, hold, and manage user trainings.
  • Work with the wider Corporate IT team on integration projects.
  • Perform unit, system, and integration testing with proper documentation.
Requirements
  • Solid background and +2 years of experience in supporting SAP Logistics modules with a good understanding of the business processes associated with the respective modules.
  • Good knowledge of SAP Logistics configuration, including understanding of the integration between SAP Logistics modules and e.g. Finance modules.
  • Good spoken and written English skills are essential for effective communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside the knowledge and ability to manage the full training cycle.
  • The ability to explain technical terms and concepts to non-technical users in an effective and efficient manner.
