Nurse in Acute Care Setting

As a Graduate Nurse, you will provide patient care in an inpatient/observation setting for acute care patients undergoing active treatment. This position is ideal for new graduates seeking to develop their skills in a high-functioning, engaged team environment. You'll provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, acute care environment, managing a wide range of conditions including Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op patients.
Our 40-bed unit operates 24/7 and offers robust support through corporate and unit-based educational opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in an inpatient/observation setting
- Manage a wide range of conditions including Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op patients
- Develop skills in a high-functioning, engaged team environment
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Authorized by the Florida Board of Nursing (BON) to practice as a graduate nurse and has received a Graduate Nurse letter
- Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the unit/department
