Work Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per bi-weekly pay period). Four 10-hour shifts weekly, including on-call responsibilities for urgent cases during off hours (overnight & weekend).

Overlake Medical Center is actively seeking a Cardiovascular Laboratory Technologist to support Cardiologists and Radiologists in various diagnostic and interventional procedures conducted in the Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology Lab. The primary goal is to deliver exceptional patient care while performing scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring tasks during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

We are in search of a committed team player with excellent clinical skills and preferred experience in the cath lab, who can effectively multitask, maintain organization, and provide outstanding care in a compassionate and efficient manner. Invasive Cardiovascular Services caters to patients undergoing angiograms with or without stent placements (cardiac, cerebral, vascular). The technologist will also assist in the care of patients receiving pacemaker or defibrillator implants. Additionally, care is extended in Interventional Radiology for non-cardiac patients requiring procedures such as nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placements.

The procedural area consists of 5 rooms and operates Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1730. All shifts are 10 hours long, with after-hours and weekend coverage provided by the on-call team.

Qualifications:
  • AA/BA/BS degree from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program is required.
  • ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) are required, OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) are required. If registry eligible, applicable registration must be obtained within ninety days of hire.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification is required upon hire.
  • Current ACLS certification is also required.
  • Two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, or electrophysiology is preferred.
  • 24 CME credits are required bi-annually.
  • Mandatory AIDS education is required.
